Tamra’s clinical experience includes diagnostics and treatment in acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient, home health, and skilled nursing settings with adult patients. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and the Dysphagia Research Society (ORS). ASHA Special Interest Group (SIG) 13 (Swallowing) and 03 (Voice and Upper Airway Disorder), NCSLHA is Licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina.
Tamra Has completed continues to advance her critical knowledge of dysphagia and voice through numerous continuing education certifications/trainings including McNeill Dysphagia Training Program (MOTP). the basic Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) training, FEES competency training, Respiratory Muscle Strength Training (EMST), Trach/Ventilator patient care training, and Ampcare ESP. Due to Tamra’s commitment to staying relevant with research-driven evidence-based practice, she is an ASHA 2022 ACE award recipient.
