Renate is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, recently moving here from Kentucky. Renate completed her bachelor and master degrees at Western Kentucky University. She specialized in treating and evaluating speech, language, and swallowing disorders in ventilator and tracheostomy patients during her clinical fellowship year. Renate also comes to DVT having experience in acute care, long term care, and school setting. Renate loves to travel and be outside, just recently completing a few travel therapy contracts in Oregon. Outside of work, Renate enjoys hiking with her dog, Louis, spending time with family and friends, and crafting. Renate will be servicing our home health patients and will begin her FEES competency journey with DVT! We’re elated to have such a medically trained competent SLP!
